  • 300 grams of meat (can be mixed minced or stuffed with sausages)
  • 1 medium onion
  • Gratin cheese (optional)
  • 2 ripe tomatoes, well crushed
  • Oregano
  • Oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

How to make roast potatoes with meat

Below we show you each of the steps to follow to carry out the ideal preparation of this recipe. We hope it is very useful for all of you and that you enjoy the result.
  1. To start it is necessary to wash the potatoes well and while they remain wet they are wrapped in foil. They are taken to the oven previously heated to 200 ° and leave them there for about 45 minutes or until they are soft.
  2. Once the potatoes are ready, remove them from the oven and let them cool.
  3. Meanwhile, the onion is chopped or crushed as much as possible and placed to saute in a pan with oil and a little salt. This is done over low heat until the onion gets a golden color.
  4. Once the onion acquires that golden hue, the crushed tomato is added until it is reduced a little and becomes thick.
  5. Then add the minced meat along with the oregano, salt and pepper to taste. Once the meat acquires a whole golden brown, it is removed from the heat and reserved.
  6. Once the potatoes are cold, they are chopped in half and with the help of a teaspoon proceed to remove the pulp or the filling.
  7. The sofrito made previously with the meat and the rest of the ingredients, we will add it to each half of the potato as a filling. And at the top we will add some grated cheese if it is your preference. It is baked to gratin until the cheese layer gets a golden and ready color.
